The Rules of the Road

Welcome to the Racing Date community! We’re building a space where passion for motorsports drives every connection. Whether you're here to find a co-driver for life, build your pit crew, or just talk shop, we need everyone to follow the same rules to keep our community safe, respectful, and fun for all.

Think of these guidelines as the sporting regulations for our community. Failure to follow them can get you a penalty, a stop-and-go, or even a black flag from the app.

Respect and Kindness

This is a community for everyone who loves the roar of an engine. Treat every member with the respect you’d show a fellow fan in the grandstands.

No Red Flags for Hate: We have a zero-tolerance policy for hate speech, racism, bigotry, misogyny, or any content that demeans or attacks individuals or groups based on their race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or background.
Keep it Clean on the Comms: Harassment, bullying, threats, and intimidation are strictly forbidden. Don’t send aggressive or unwanted messages. Remember, there's a real person in the other driver's seat.
Good Sportsmanship: Don't post content that is excessively violent, graphic, or glorifies real-world harm. We're here to celebrate speed and skill, not violence.

Authenticity Matters

Just like a car in scrutineering, we expect your profile to be the real deal. Authenticity is the key to building trust and making genuine connections.

Be Yourself: Your profile must be an accurate representation of you. Use recent photos that clearly show your face. No celebrity photos, no cartoons, and no pictures of just your car (no matter how beautiful it is!).
One Driver, One License: Each person is allowed only one account. Do not create fake profiles, impersonate others, or misrepresent your age, location, or other key details. This includes couples sharing a single profile.
No Commercials in the Grandstands: Racing Date is for personal connections, not a marketplace. Do not use your profile to solicit money, sell products, promote events for profit, or drive traffic to external websites.

Safety on and off the Track

Your safety is our priority. We’ve built tools to protect you, but we also need you to be a proactive part of keeping our community safe.

Protect Your Pit Lane: Never share sensitive personal information like your home address, financial details, or passwords with anyone on the app. Keep conversations on Racing Date until you feel completely comfortable.
No Illegal Laps: Do not use Racing Date to conduct or promote any illegal activity. This includes buying or selling drugs, weapons, or other controlled substances.
Report Unsafe Driving: If you see someone behaving inappropriately or a profile that violates these rules, use the "Report" function. Reporting is anonymous and helps our safety team review and take action quickly. It’s the best way to keep our track clean for everyone.

What Gets You Disqualified

To be crystal clear, engaging in any of the following will result in your account being permanently banned:

Photos of Nudity or Sexually Explicit Content.
Any Form of Solicitation or Prostitution.
Threats of Violence or Glorification of Terrorism/Hate Groups.
Photos of Unaccompanied Minors. You must be 18+ to use this app.
Spamming, Scamming, or Phishing for Information.
